Prices and Payment: prices are fixed in euros and payment in that currency may be made in cash, by cheque, bank transfer or by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Carte Bleu). Euro cheques should be made payable to ‘Theresa Martin’.
Confirmation of Reservation: Upon receipt of the booking form and deposit, we will send you a confirmation invoice. This is our formal acceptance of the booking. Please check the details and advise us at once of any inaccuracies. It is understood that the person making the booking will be deemed to act on behalf of all members of the party.
Final Payment : Details for the final payment will appear on your invoice and the balance must be paid in full not later than six weeks before the first day of the booking. If the balance is not received by us by this time, we will be entitled to cancel the booking without prejudice to our claim for cancellation charges. For bookings made within six weeks of the start of your holiday, the full cost of the holiday should be paid at the time of booking.
Included in the Price : Gas, electricity, hot water and central heating are included in the weekly rate for accommodation, as well as the supply of bed linen, bath towels and mats. Pool towels are not supplied. All guests are entitled to use the swimming pool, sauna and grounds of Peyloubère with the exception of the few private areas. Free wireless internet access is available in all cottages, throughout most of the gardens and around the pool.
Visitors : The accommodation is for the use of guests named on the booking form only. Visitors are not permitted to stay overnight except by prior arrangement with the owners. Similarly the swimming pool, sauna and grounds are for the use of guests. However, depending on usage by guests, visitors may be permitted to use the swimming pool at our discretion.
Damage Deposit : A damage deposit of €200 is payable at the same time as the final payment. This is to cover the cost of any damage, breakages or loss suffered to the property or its contents during your stay as well as the cost of any special cleaning that is required after departure. We will endeavour to refund the damage deposit within two weeks of your departure; however, please note that it can take time to sort out such charges and breakage costs and, should they apply, the damage deposit will be held until the process is completed.
Arrival/Departure Times : Accommodation is available from 4pm on the first day of the booking until 10am on the final day. It is most helpful if you are able to advise us in advance of your approximate time of arrival.
Cancellation : If you wish to cancel a booking, you should advise us by telephone and confirm the cancellation in writing which should be signed by the same person who signed the booking form. Cancellation will take effect on receipt of this written confirmation. In all cases of cancellation the deposit will be forfeit. If the cancellation is made after the final payment is due, you are liable for the full cost of your holiday. We will, however, use our best endeavours to re-let and, if successful, will refund the cost of the holiday, less costs incurred.
In the event that the accommodation reserved by you becomes unavailable after your booking has been confirmed, for whatever reason, we will use our best endeavours to find alternative, comparable accommodation. If we are unable to do this, or if you are unable to accept the change, we will refund your deposit and the balance if this has already been paid. This will be our sole obligation.
We recommend that you arrange insurance for holiday cancellation.
Your responsibilities: You agree to allow only those named on the booking form to occupy the accommodation. The bringing of pets onto the property is only allowed with our permission. No camping is permitted on the property grounds. You undertake to leave the accommodation and all its furnishings and effects in a clean state and in good order. You also undertake to advise us of any missing or damaged items and of any damage to the property and to reimburse us for such loss or damage. We reserve the right to terminate the let immediately if these conditions are breached. WiFi network : any claim, legal, financial or other, resulting from a copyright infringement or illegal use of the network carried out by you and those listed on the self catering booking form using the open WiFi network is totally your responsibility.
Our responsibilities: We accept responsibility for any loss or damage sustained by you as a direct result of negligence of anyone employed by us, or an agent under our direct control. We do not accept responsibility whatsoever for happenings or actions outside our reasonable control, such as breakdown of domestic appliances, plumbing, temporary invasion of pests, acts of insurrection, industrial disputes, floods or other events amounting to ‘force majeure’. Similarly we do not accept responsibility for breakdown in the supply of water or electricity, nor of the swimming pool filtration system, sauna equipment or internet access by WiFi; we will however use our best endeavours to arrange for such problems to be resolved as speedily as possible. We have taken the greatest care in the preparation of the information presented to you and every effort has been made to ensure accuracy. We do our utmost to ensure that the accommodation is satisfactory and enjoyable and take all reasonable care to maintain the property in good condition. Although we take every reasonable care to ensure that nothing untoward occurs during your stay at Peyloubère, we shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, accident, delay, inconvenience or irregularity arising, howsoever caused.
Acceptance of Booking Conditions : In submitting the booking form, you acknowledge that you have read these Conditions and that you accept them without reservation or exception. We advise you to print out a copy of these Conditions for your retention.
